Identifying the Battery Part Number
Make sure the vacuum cleaner is turned off and has stopped operating, and that the battery has cooled down.
Inside the vacuum cleaner’s battery compartment or on the bottom/back of the device, product information is usually indicated, including:
- Vacuum cleaner model and part number (e.g., Dyson V8, Roomba 980)
- Serial number (Serial No.)
- Battery voltage and capacity
- Sometimes the recommended battery model is also listed
